Hi I'm Henry

I grew up around the world. My Father was in the Air Force. I married and raised six daughters in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors, I camp, hunt and fish, snow ski, scubadive, enjoy cycling. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family, ( six children, five of them are married, eleven grandchildren) camping at the beach or in the mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to have parents who converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latterday saints when I was very young. Growing up around the world I have seen the importance of fundamental values, the importance of family and the role it plays not only in society but in the eternities. I was a typical teenager, I questioned everything. I found out for myself what my parents taught me was true. That I am a child of God, He has a plan for me. Because he loves me and not only me he has restored his gospel through the prophet Joseph Smith. We are lead by a living prophet today who is Thomas S. Monson. I have read the Book of Mormon Many times. Each time I learn more and the spirit whispers it is true. I'm a Mormon and because of the teachings I can find peace in this troubled world. I have the the most wonderful wife, we have been married over 30 years. I can not imagine ever being with out her. The teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ teach us about not only being married but sealed together for all eternity. I know I will have my wife and children with me forever.

How I live my faith

As I am writing this I serve in my ward as a Youth leader and Varsity Scout Coach. In some way or fashion I have worked with the Youth for about 10 years. When I say youth I am talking about young men and women 12 to 18 years old. I love the youth they are our future and what better way to make a difference in the world than to help our youth learn not only about the Gospel of Jesus Christ but how to be leaders, how to be a better person and make a difference in the world. I have also taught the very young in Primary, I have served in leadership positions in the ward and Stake. I have taught Gospel Doctrine. Gospel Principals, In the stake I have served a mission.
