Hi I'm Miriam

I'm a wife, mother, mother-in law, grandmother and nurse. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife of 33 years to the love of my life, mother of 4 beautiful daughters, mother-in-law to 4 fabulous sons, and grandmother to 11 awesome kids! I work as a nurse. My passion is music. I play the piano and organ and love all kinds of music. Nothing is more important to me than my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born of goodly parents and baptized at 8 years old by my father. But whether you are raised in the church or not you have to develop a testimony of the gospel of your own at some point. I have always had a testimony but I was twelve years old when I had my first real experience of the Holy Ghost testifying to me that the church is true. It has continued to grow from there through prayer, study, trials and more spiritual experiences.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being interested in others and reaching out to them in whatever way they need. It might be a home cooked meal, babysitting, or just a listening ear. I try to really listen to what people say and respond to their needs. I also value my friendships with people of other faiths. Service is such an important part of the gospel. You really can't grow without providing daily service, whether its convenient or not.
