Hi I'm Nancy

I grew up in a small town in Arizona surrounded by many good people who set such a good example that I joined the LDS church.

About Me

I'm a stay at home Mom and I babysit my nephew's two small children. I returned to college to finish my Associate's Degree when my youngest was in high school and I met younger people who I enjoyed being around. I love talking to just about anyone and I'm usually one of the first people to introduce myself to new members or visitors. I love sports, especially volleyball. I enjoy working outside in my yard.

Why I am a Mormon

The little community where I am from have a lot of LDS people who have always been kind and helpful. I was invited to attend Primary and I loved going each week. When I turned 8 years old, I asked to be baptized and I feel especially grateful because my home teacher baptized me and my four older brothers the same day. My Dad started going to church again and the next thing I knew, my parents had callings and we were going every Sunday. The few Sunday's that I missed, I felt like something was wrong. I loved having that spiritual feeling each week. I met a wonderful man and am married for time and all eternity in the Mesa, AZ Temple. I know that if I keep my covenants that I will be eternally married to my husband and our children. I truly believe that Families are Forever and I want to have my family forever.

How I live my faith

I'm lucky enough to serve in many ways. I have been a faithful visiting teacher for 34 years and love visiting each month with the women. I get to attend the baptisms from my ward each month and I take a picture of these sweet 8 year old children smiling and seeing the many people who come from far and near to see this child be baptized. And presently, I'm helping a woman who is from Russia learn to speak and understand English better and she is so much fun to visit with each week.
