Hi I'm Cody

Grew up in Utah and now serving a mission and yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the church. I enjoy playing football, reading and spending time with friends and family. Im the oldest out of three kids. Before going out and serving a mission, i was working three jobs, going to college and finding time to do everything else. Im a pretty easy going guy, but at the same time stressed about "anything" (but hey that's life, right?). Some call me random, i think of it as a state of mind which ideas and dreams are realized. I like pudding!! But honestley folks, life isn't life without the experiances and knowlege you gain by living right, staying true to what you believe in and just live.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout out my life, growing up in Utah as a Mormon was pretty easy. We a large support group over there. It was hard, however, to stick with it (church and stuff) because all (well most) of my freinds and people i knew are or were Mormons. The pressure to be an example to them and lead the way for my family is one of the reasons why I wanted to serve my Heavenly Father as a full time missionary. I can testitfy that serving is one of the best ways I could give back to him for all that he has done for me. I know this gospel is true, there have been way too many experiances in my life that has testified of that. I know, without a doubt in my heart, that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and is another testiment of Him. President Thomas S. Monson is indeed a prophet of God and through him, the He can direct His people. Even though I grew up in Utah, one of the most populated Mormon areas, i really had to work for my testimony. It was through many trials that i really had to decide for myself if these things were true. They are true and i will not deny it.

How I live my faith

IM ON A MISSION!!! Missionary work is one of the greatest ways to serve the community. Every other day we are able to help someone move into a home, paint a tool shed and other random things. It's a marvelous thing because through our actions as missionaries or members we are able to teach by example. Seeing us (missionaries) throughout the community and around the world, it's a testimony that the church is true and this is the Savior work. Where ever He went, served all those he talked to. Im so grateful to be able to serve the great state of Alaska!
