Hi I'm Diana

I grew up in Adelaide, married after the war and came to Queensland to live. I'm a Mormon and I love it.

About Me

I had a happy childhood. I was fortunate enough to marry someone I really loved which led to a happy marriage. We had 5 children together which I have really enjoyed. I love music and art and still do them to this day. I also love dancing. I am now retired. I lost my husband in 2004 so have been on my own since then. I also have a disabled child and she has been the light of my life for years.

Why I am a Mormon

When I first learned about the church, I knew within my heart that it was true. It was difficult because my Father was a lay preacher in the Church of England and did not understand my decision. The one thing that really influenced me was how the program of the church looked after children. It has taught me how to be a good Mother, a good Grandmother and how to raise them to be good adults, kind and caring to others.

How I live my faith

I have spent many years in the church teaching children and adults. I love to teach and have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to teach many over the years. I love the lessons given to us to teach and how they help us to become better individuals and families. I currently teach the women on Sundays. We learn how we can make our lives better through focussing on Jesus Christ and how we can be better Mothers and Grandmothers alike. Being a member of the church all of these years, it has been wonderful to know that I have the help of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to guide me and help me through all my problems.
