Hi I'm Cindy

I am a wife, mother and a grandmother of 10, and yes I am a Mormon.

About Me

When I was 8, my family was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. I grew up in a community where the majority of my friends were Mormons. After 15 years of marriage my jobs moved our family to the Midwest where we are now the minority. When you are the minority you must rely on your faith to help you resist temptations.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel and how it makes me feel. I know that if I am following the commandments of God that I will be happy. I know there will be trial in my life but the benefits of living the gospel make my life more meaningful. I love to attend the Temple where I was married for time and all eternity. I know that if I live righteously I will be able to be with my family for all eternity. That’s why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I wake up each day knowing that I am a daughter of God, and God loves me. I try to treat everyone as if they are my brother or sister knowing that God loves them too. . This helps me to make the right choices. I try to be a good example. When I was asked to be the chorister in Primary I was real nervous, because I am not the best singer and only read music a little. With faith and knowing that the Lord will not give you any challenges you can't handle. I took the calling, and I am teaching the children about the gospel through the primary songs, and loving it. I Know the Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to this earth for the benefit of us all. President Monson is our Prophet and will not lead us astray.
