Hi I'm Jason W. Green

I live in North Idaho. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I teach Information Systems at a career and technical high school in the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho area. I love hiking, backpacking, fishing, hunting, riding my motorcycle, cutting firewood, camping. I have four children that like to do the same sort of things, and a wife who doesn’t like the outdoors as much. She is a trooper, and if there is a cot to sleep on, she will still go with us. I speak Spanish and Portuguese besides my native English, and am always looking for an opportunity to practice. Besides teaching I am also a public school administrator and work as an online principal for a virtual school.

Why I am a Mormon

The simple answer is because it makes me happy. I believe that Jesus Christ is happy. Following his example makes my life less stressful and more full of joy. The association with the good people of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days saints is a joy in my life. We all have a tendency to become more like those with whom we spend our time. I am happy to spend it with other individuals that are seeking to become more Christlike.

How I live my faith

I have been an active leader in our youth program and in Boy Scouts of America for a long time. I enjoy being with the youth. They help me to feel young, and we do fun activities. I love the great attitude toward serving others that the youth I know have. It is great to work side-by-side with my children and their friends as we help in the community.
