Hi I'm Nadine

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for twenty years to my sweet and adorable husband. I am the mother of four incredible children of various ages. Together my husband and I run a consulting firm. Whew! Life can be busy. I love to travel when I can. Alaska and New York have been my favorite American destinations. After music lessons, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Young Women activities and homework is conquered, I enjoy reading, socializing and working out at the gym- I really need it!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a different church and attended private schools. As soon as I graduated from high school, I enrolled in cosmetology school. The first person I met was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her friendship and example to me introduced me to the Gospel and I felt the Spirit so strongly that I could not deny the fact that I knew that God and my Savior lived. I met with missionaries and had my own witness that the Gospel has been restored to men and women in this day and time! I have been greatly blessed with many gifts from Heavenly Father. Life is fast paced, but my family and myself are grounded on the foundation of Christ. He gives me perspective about what is truly important. I breathe easy knowing that my family can be together for eternity, that I am a daughter of God and that He loves me.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is the most personal and vital thing in my life. I have opportunities to receive messages through our Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Thomas S. Monson and be guided by Heavenly Father. Reading and pondering the scriptures has enriched me with peace. The Book of Mormon in particular has changed my life for the greater! Keeping my life free of alcohol and harmful substances has kept me free of physical addictions. Prayer keeps me close to my Father in Heaven. He IS there for us. I know it with all certainty, every fiber of my being knows it.The wonderful thing about the Gospel is that I have learned that EVERYONE is different and we have been blessed with different strengths and weaknesses. It enables me to remember not to sweat the small stuff and to love others as Jesus would love me. I have worked with the children of the church and Cub Scouts. Right now I have the opportunity to work with the women- women are amazing!! The Gospel teaches me to remember the Lord in all I do and say. It is a powerful thing in my life that Heavenly Father knows me, knows me by name, because of this, I am somebody.
