Hi I'm Jenelle

I grew up in Missouri. My parents were converts and my whole family is active in the church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I came from a small branch in Columbia, Missouri that has grown over the past 60 years into 5 wards. I have been directing music since I was 5 years old. I was stake Young Women's President and called when I was 18 and served till I was 31. Soon after married in the Salt Lake City Temple. I raised 3 children and served numerous calling since then but, have always had a great love for music. After my husband passed away, I moved to Colorado to live near my grandchildren. Since then, I have been able to sing in the Colorado Mormon Chorale, and serve as a Temple Worker in the Denver Temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a firm conviction of Joseph Smiths testimony and vision. I know him to be a prophet of God. While I live in the world I see the importance of a living prophet, and his guidance in our daily lives. And because of this I could not be affiliated with any other church. I have a testimony of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That the Book of Mormon is the word of God. In raising my children I was given guidance and direction as a parent, and in turn they were given guidance and direction as children, and I am grateful for that. I'm thankful for the fellowship of members. For visiting teaching and home teaching, and how each member steps up to the plate when called upon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings, serving in the church, attending the temple, keeping my temple recommend current, and fellowshipping with ward members as well as people in the community.
