Hi I'm David

I grew up in California. I love playing guitar, and want to be a nurse so i can help people in need every day.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Lets see, i got guitar playing, watching movies...(yep thats a hobbie), playing games, doing anything with electronics, and going to the gym. Im currently on my mission serving in the Salt Lake City South mission in Utah. After i come home ill go straight to college to become either an RN, an EMT, or work in the ER. I love joking around with friends and having fun, taking life seriously all the time is just depressing. So smile :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church though i never really felt much towards it, i guess cause i didnt listen to the speakers or read my scriptures or pray on a daily basis. So at age 12 i just stopped going. It took me 7 years to realize how lost my life is without the gospel of Jesus Christ. And thats exactly the feeling i fought day by day, the feeling that i was lost, that i couldnt be with my family after this life because they were better than me so id end up in a place lower than them. One day i decided to just go to church out of the blue, i guess to see some friends i hadnt seen in a while. I continued to go on and off for a few months and its then when my branch president asked me to come talk to him. He talked about my life for a while then told me he thought i should go on a mission. I was taken back because i always knew i wasnt gonna go on one, that it wasnt for me. Plus i knew virtually nothing about the gospel other than it felt good and that my family firmly believed in it. But i did have respect for the Lord so i gave it some thought. After a while of thought and prayer and fasting i came to the conclusion that this was the direction that would be best for me, so i did all i could to prepare myself for a mission. I became active and just strived every day to know Jesus Christ better, because its his gospel and he is the only way we can have eternal life. Im now on my mission serving in Utah and my life has made a complete 180. Those feelings of being lost or depression, distance from my family, or feelings of inatiquacy. Even a purpose in my life, the gospel gave me a state of happiness i havent felt anywhere else. This gospel changes lives for the better, its true and i love it more and more every day. I love my Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

My current calling is missionary! im on my mission in Utah and i spend 24/7 helping people learn about the gospel and better thier lives just as i have. As you live the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ you feel the truth of it, and things just start to turn around for the better.
