Hi I'm Nikki

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in North Pole, Alaska. Went to a University in UT. Served in the Tempe, Arizona mission. I was grateful for the lessons I learned and especaily my new determination to serve God. After my mission I attended another university and then while visiting friends in AZ, went on a blind date and meet Mr. Wonderful. We married and now have 4 kids. They keep life entertaining as I stay at home. Mr. Wonderful blesses my life each day and I am grateful that he too loves Heavenly Father. We teach our children that God loves them and they have a Savior who died for them. I feel so blessed to work with the youth today. They are so capable of great things they inspire me to do the same. I attend classes on wilderness survival and first-aid because I love the outdoors. I love to cook and bake and dance. I love to visit with family and friends and feed them food. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8. When I was 18 the influence of my peers had me questioning religion. I asked my parents if I could search other faiths and to my surprised they encouraged me to prayerfully find what I was looking for. I believe in the bible and know that during the Savior's minestry there were apostles, prophets, revelation and they had the authority to act for God. So, for me it makes sense that today we would have that same closeness to our Heavenly Father. I realized what I wanted was to know that God loves and knows me. That his plan for me included forgiveness, guidance and a purpose for my life. Today I still feel his love and guidance as I raise my own kids. I want them to have the same securtiy that I've had growning up. I want them to know where to go when they feel lost and discouraged. The gospel has given me hope for better world and I want a be a part that.

How I live my faith

I am willing to share what I've learned about the gospel with anyone. I am determined to serve and be kind to others. I love to serve with the youth. I admire the youth who rise above the examples they have of peers and other adults and become someone with integrity and virtue. We have activities and lessons that encourage them to make decisions that will bring them peace in their lives. I get to visit with other women and we help each other accomplish great things in our home, marriage, and raising kids. I spend time with my husband and kids because that is one of the ways I feel the closest to my Heavenly Father. We read from the scriptures and apply the stories to our lives. I pray regularly so that I can stay close to my Heavenly Father and my Savior.
