Hi I'm Tricia

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of two wonderful boys and wife to an amazing man who also happens to be my best friend. I like to fill my time with family, friends, church callings and volunteer work. We live in a beautifully diverse area that is so fun to explore and enjoy. Our family is frequently outdoors enjoying natures bounty. I also love reading a good book, and if I am not careful, can easily get lost in one for hours at a time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be raised by parents who taught me the gospel since birth. It wasn't just a religion in our home, it was very much a way of life. When I was old enough to start questioning things for myself, all I had to do was think of the peace and joy I felt when I was living the commandments to know that what I had been taught in my life was true. Sure, the world has offered me things that at the time seemed more exciting and easier, and yes, at times I fell for it. But my knowledge of who I am, a child of God, makes me want to strive that much harder to overcome the world and truly live as He would have me. I know the feelings I have when I am choosing the right are real, and that's all I need to know.

How I live my faith

I am so lucky to be working with the 12 and 13 year old girls in our Ward at this time. They are the best group of girls, still so full of enthusiasm and friendship. Although it may seem like it takes up a lot of my time, I and my family are blessed ten fold for any service I may perform. I meet with the girls for 1 hour on Sundays and then plan and carry out a one and a half hour activity once a week. I truly hope that the time and energy I spend in fulfilling my duties will help these beautiful young women recognize their worth as daughters of god and to grow closer to Christ.
