Hi I'm Bert

I'm a Mormon. It has always been a part of who I am and affected choices I made.

About Me

I am a grandfather now and adjusting to the idea that I have the age to go along with the title. Family has always been a central part of my life. As son, as father, as grandfather, i have always considered my family as a great blessing. I have enjoyed my time with them and now wish I had spent even more time with them doing all the other things I enjoy. I enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting, camping and all the outdoor time in the mountains or at the beach that I can spend.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is my life. My parents and their parents and their parent's parents were Mormon. I have seen the misery that some people choose by their choices and have seen the joy and happiness the church has brought into my life and I choose the latter. I love the Lord and His plan for our happiness. I want to be happy so I try to follow his plan. I really do want to be rejoined with my family forever.

How I live my faith

The church is not a place to sit back and observe others do. It is a church of service. We all get a chance to serve in all kinds of ways. I am currently teaching children six years old and enjoy their innocence and desire to learn about Jesus and life. I have had administrative positions, taught Sunday school, even been Scout master for a few years.
