Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in Montana. I'm a medical student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The things that help define me most right now are my studies as a medical student and my time as a new father. Still, when I do have extra time, I'm a sports enthusiast, a movie lover, a video game player, and a tech aficionado.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 11 years, I decided that I wanted to know if there was more to this life than I'd been raised with. Up to this point, I had no knowledge of God, Jesus Christ, or Their plan for us. In fact, I had never been to any church before. My desire for answers led me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As the missionaries taught me, I could feel the spirit, and I knew that it was true. That testimony cultivated as an 11 year old is the same that I hold today. God is our Father. Jesus Christ is His Son and our Savior. He saved us by sharing His Gospel and atoning for our sins. Following His death and His apostles' deaths, His Gospel was changed and required a restoring of truth. Joseph Smith, under the direction of God and Jesus, restored this truth through the Power of Revelation. The church continues to be lead by God and Jesus through revelation.

How I live my faith

Faith wouldn't truly be faith unless it was acted upon. As such, my faith has continuously been strengthened by positive actions I've taken in the Church and by sharing the gospel with others. At present, I serve as the Teacher's Quorum Adviser and as a home teacher. As the Teacher's Quorum Adviser, nearly every Sunday, I teach the 14-15 year boys of the ward about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
