Hi I'm Bonnie P.

I'm an author. My family makes this all worth while! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two degrees, one in radiology and the other a general AA. I'm a published author, a medical transcriptionist, but most importantly, I'm a mother and wife. I LOVE dirt biking with my awesome Husband and four kids. Cooking calms me down and I find Heavenly Father in even the smallest things - the Scottish moss outside my front door, the tinkle from my wind chimes.

Why I am a Mormon

The simple fact that the church is true is a huge reason. But the main thing that drew me to investigating this particular gospel? The importance of family. The Family Proclamation outlines exactly what Heavenly Father has set forth for us with regard to family. I have a testimony in the eternal family and that we can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I volunteer in my church organizing activities for the women. I visit sisters in need and substitute in classes as a teacher.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Bonnie P.
I adore church services. The first hour is Sacrament and this is attended by everyone - young, old, etc. - you name it and you sit with your family and hear the same messages together. Then 2nd and 3rd hours we get to partake of similar messages but those tailored to our particular needs - younger children, men, women, converts, those who've been in longer than others. It's a great time to be spiritually uplifted. Also, visitors are encouraged and welcomed. I enjoy seeing new faces and getting to know new people and what a great place to see other children of Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
