Hi I'm Ghislain

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Ghislain. I'm a husband, father, High School French teacher, and a biker. I was born and raised in France and came to America in 1994, when I got married to my wife, Rachel, an american citizen. I have attended Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and Metropolitan State College, in Colorado as well. I hold a Master's degree in French Literature, and a secondary education licensure. I spend most of my free time riding either my Harley-Davidson motorcycle, or my British bike, through the Colorado mountains and plains, with my friends and my motorcycle club. When I'm off the bike, I enjoy being a normal dad to my 12, 16, and 19 year old girls, and going on dates with my wonderful wife of 20 years. I'm passionate about motorcycles, but I'm just as crazy about cycling. I like mountain biking but mostly enjoy road biking. I call any time with my family packed into a minivan on a long road trip, a good time. I love America, American history and politics, but my music allegiance lies with an Irish band called U2. I have come to love and appreciate this beautiful and fascinating country, its rich history and ever amazing landscapes, which I continually discover through miles and miles of riding..., and driving. I'm a convert to the church, and I love my savior Jesus Christ. The gospel has blessed my life, and continues to do so each day. See you on the road.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in the principles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which say that if you accept Christ and are willing to take upon you his name, serve the people around you, and follow his example, you'll live a happy life. I'm happy to report that I have a happy life. Also the basic structure of this church, with the head of the church assisted by 12 apostles, just as it was in the time of Christ, is unique to the Mormon Church, and is just as Christ himself wanted his church to be and still wants it to be today. I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Jesus Christ's Church and that's why I'm a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday at home, at work, at church on Sunday, on the road while on the bike, amongst my Mormon friends, non Mormons friends, bikers and non-biker friends.
