Hi I'm Sam

I grew up in Michigan. I am a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have four children. We spend a lot of time together going for drives, watching movies, and playing games. I like to write and play music. I have several books published and I've written music for films. I'm a teacher and I find a lot of enjoyment in helping people learn new skills and accomplish great things.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because of the focus on family. The gospel of Jesus Christ has shown the way to be an eternal family and that is important to me. My mother died in a car accident when I was a baby and I know I will someday meet her and get to know her. That knowledge drives me in this life and gives my actions meaning. I get to help my children learn about Jesus and together we live a happy life knowing that we can make a difference. We have the opportunity to make the world a better place.

How I live my faith

I love serving others. Right now I have been blessed to work with our local Cub Scout troop. Recently we planned a hike in the mountains and we also made miniature rocket launchers. Seeing the boys learn and grow is a very rewarding experience and I know that helping them fill their time with rewarding (and fun) activities will make a difference in their lives. When my twin boys turn 8 they will join the pack and that is going to be awesome! We live in a beautiful world and it is awe inspiring to see the hand of God in everything around us.
