Hi I'm Wendy

I am a mother of 5 kids, I milk a cow and gather eggs every morning. My friends think I'm crazy but I love it, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I decided that we wanted a different lifestyle for our kids so we started looking at land. We were able to get 5 acres and started researching the farm life. After starting with a goat and chickens, we decided to get a milkcow. It took us a long time to find one but love the lifestyle now. We always have plenty of milk and eggs, and it feels great to feel self sufficient. We started a garden this year and hope to get better at it next year.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon, and am always grateful for that. I choose to be Mormon now because I love it. I love the values, the strength, my relationship with my savior and my God, the way His gospel blesses my family and my marriage. I was always encouraged to gain my own testimony and not rely on my parents as I grew up, and I did gain that testimony. I received an undeniable answer to my prayers about the truthfulness of The Book Of Mormon. I know it is true, and that gives me direction and purpose in my life.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday, and bring my boys to Scouts and activities for the youth during the week. I love to help with the young children as mine grow up. I visit women in my church every month and make sure they are doing well and their families needs are taken care of, and attend monthly meetings for the women where we learn new things and socialize and have fun together. I really love being a Mormon!
