Hi I'm Becky

I have had a wonderful life! I live in Arizona, am married with two kids, and work part-time as a financial analyst. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy focusing on the positive things in life. My two young children help me see the simple beauties of each day. I recently had to go back to work full-time as my husband experienced a period of unemployment. This was difficult for me to leave my newborn baby, but I was blessed to have a good job and trusted in my husband to care for my children. My husband has gotten a great job and I am now able to again take care of my children full-time and work part-time. Although I enjoy my occupation, I believe that my being home with the children will make a greater impact for good on society than anything I could ever do at work. My family enjoys cooking different foods, especially baked goods. Beautiful cupcakes make me smile. We also enjoy traveling and hiking. I enjoy visiting museums and studying art history and hope to teach my children this love of the arts as well.

Why I am a Mormon

The principles of this church give me the confidence and peace to make it through the day-to-day trials. By following the teachings, I am healthier and happier. We study the life of Jesus Christ, which is the perfect example for how I want structure my life. Having a living prophet allows us to gain modern-day revelation on how to become closer to Christ. The social network of the church is so valuable. We take care of each other and also our friends of other faiths. No matter where you go in the world, you can find a branch of the church and people willing to servie and assist you.

How I live my faith

I try to see and treat people as Christ did. He focused on the good within each of us and was never quick to judge. I currently serve in the women's organization of my local church. We constantly work to take care of the needs of women and their families. We have regular monthly visits to provide uplifting messages and build lasting friendships.
