Hi I'm Caldwell

I'm a college student, a snowboarder, a salesman, a goof-off, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The thing that defines me most is my family. I have amazing grandparents with solid testimonies of the Gospel. Because of their example so many of us are members in the church. My parents are some of the very best people that I know too. They know how to help me out and keep me on the straight and narrow. My little brother is my favorite! He is preparing for a mission for the church and I could not be more proud of him. The only bummer about living in Arizona is that I miss the chance to go snowboarding four times a week like I could in Utah (which really does have the best snow on earth). I started when I was fourteen years old and picked it up pretty quick. Year after year I would look forward to the chance to go up to Brighton ski resort and hit the slopes. Even though I don't often have the chance to stap my board on I still love to snowboard! I love to make people laugh. I like to meet new people and swap stories about life and see what makes other people happy and optimistic. I have always had a lot of fun pulling pranks on people and I seriously doubt that will ever change. I can never get enough of people's face when they realize what has happened! Basically people are my drive. Anything with lots of people around is a fun time for me!

Why I am a Mormon

I read the Book of Mormon when I was seven and I knew then that it was true. As I have continued to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ I have seen more and more the truthfulness in it. One of my favorite parts about the Gospel is seeing how it blesses those around me as well. Everyone I see live the Gospel is happier and has the right bearings in life. Not that their life is easy, because the Gospel doesn't make hard things go away, but those who live the Gospel know who to turn to in need. Jesus Christ is the Son of the Father. I know that God lives and that He has a plan for me while I am here on earth. I am so grateful for the Spirit and His constant guidance in my life. Without that blessing I would stumble more than I do now. I know that we have a prophet in the land today, President Thomas S Monson. I know that the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price are all inspired words from the Father to us today. I know that living the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ brings a greater happiness into one's life ad a closer personal relationship with Jesus Christ. My testimony is one of the things in life I treasure most.

How I live my faith

I learned a long time ago that living the simple aspects of the Gospel brings a great change in life and how we live it. Doing simple things each day have brought a clearer understanding of who I am and what I am to do in life. In my ward I'm a home teacher. I love to be able to help young sisters (being in a student ward often the sisters don't have a priesthood holder at home) with small things. Serving others is such a great blessing I would encourage you to never pass up the opportunity to serve another, whether you know them or not.
