Hi I'm Scott R. Warner

I'm a Mormon. I live in Arizona, married with 4 children and 8 grand children.

About Me

I grew up in Salt Lake City. I played sports in high school and college. I have lived in Arizona for the last 12 years. I own an import business that sells product all over the US. I like to work and I like to compete. I enjoy my family and most sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. Like all people born into the church or who find it later, I had to learn if the principles of the gospel were true. I have found that the easiest way to learn if a principle is true is to live it. I have had the spirit of the Holy Ghost bare witness to me many many times that the gospel is true. As I have studied the Bible to learn about the gospel that Christ brought to the earth and compared it to the LDS gospel principles. I found them to be the same. I have not found any other religion that teaches the same gospel that Christ gave us 2,000 years ago except the LDS religion. Many of the principles of the gospel that people often make fun of were in fact also in the gospel of Christ 2000 years ago. The gospel gives answers to many of life's most difficult questions; where did I come from? why am I here? and where am I going?. Like the ancient gospel, we have temples where we can go to learn many things and to make covenants with the Lord that can lead us to eternal life, or in other words, qualify us to live with God again throughout eternity. There is nothing that the church teaches that does not make me a better person and afford me the opportunity to progress through out eternity if I so chose.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to grow through giving service in the church. I have been a teacher in many of the organizations of the church. I visit several families once per month to teach them a lesson and to check on their well being. If needed, I render service to help with their needs. I donate 10% (tithing) of my earnings to the church, just like the teachings in the Bible, and in the ancient church of Christ. This law has never been revoked. I have found it to be a tremendous blessing to me and my family to obey this great principle. We do not have paid clergy, so all the money goes to good uses. I live by a health code the church gives to us called the word of wisdom. No alcohol, no tobacco and so forth. This has kept my body strong and free from addictions.
