Hi I'm Liz

I am a Mom of three sons, I am a certified SCUBA Diver, I make wedding cakes and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my best friend for 30 years and together we have three sons. The youngest of the three is currently serving a mission as have his brothers before him. One of my lifes accomplishments has been having three sons. Motherhood is such a sacred obligation and I have felt blessed to have been entrusted with children.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church since my baptism at age 8. Having been a lifelong member doesn't by any means give someone a pass as to their finding a testimony of their own. It seems to me that from a very young age I had a belief in the church and experiences throughout my life have continued to confirm my testimony over and over again. As a young teen I had an experience of traveling outside of the USA to another country. Being gone from home for an extended period of time caused great homesickness for me but a dear sweet fellow from our tour group sat down with my friend and I and talked at length about the gospel and the blessings of having a loving family at home. Once again my testimony grew as I realized what a blessing this was in my life. Many experiences like this have helped my testimony grow over the years.

How I live my faith

Living my Faith has included many callings throughout the years. I have spent many hours teaching Cub Scouts which seems to have many fond memories for me. I have also been involved in orgaizations for the mature sisters in our ward and most recently in the orgaiztion for our young women, such a delight for me as I have never raised a daughter. My husband also has a very time consuming calling so I have always joked that I have been called to iron white shirts. All of these callings have truly blessed my life as I strive to live the teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ
