Hi I'm Danny

Hi, I'm Danny. I am currently attending college and want to become a screenwriter/director. I'm a Mormon and I'm proud of it.

About Me

I am currently a college student; I am studying in hopes what will become a dual major in Chemical Engineering and Cinema. So obviously I have a deep interest for both science and art but definitely love the movies and creating stories above all else. I am obsessed with music and am always listening to my tunes; I listen to mostly classic rock, like The Who (my all time favorite band), and any alternative from the '90s until today's music, with favorites such as Pearl Jam, Jet, Incubus, The Killers, and Panic! at the Disco. I am also an avid movie and like just about any good flick. My last great love is sports cars and absolutely drool over Ferrari's but love anything on wheels that's fast.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church but ultimately, like anything else, it's a choice and it's one that I embrace wholeheartedly. One thing you can be sure to find in this church is good friends who love you and something I am truly thankful for. By getting to know friends through church meetings, institute, seminary, and other church functions you will discover how deep a relationship you have with these people as you get to know them on such an intimate and spiritual level. And of course I want you to know what I believe, while it may not be nearly as impacting as telling you personally, it is nonetheless the less something I cherish. I know that this church is true above all others in the world, I believe that Jesus Christs suffered for our sins in Gethsemane and that we are accountable for our sins alone and not for Adam's transgression, I believe that Joseph Smith did see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and did translate another testament of Jesus Christ, I believe in the Book of Mormon and the Bible and that they are the words of God, I believe that the Godhead are three separate beings that are one in purpose, and I believe each and every one of us can strive to live God's commandments so that we may live with him some day for all eternity and become just like him. I say these things humbly in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith primarily through example. I try and live our standards to the best of my ability. I keep myself modest in my dress, I'm not really a striped polo kind of guy but I find clothes that both meet my style and my standards. I keep myself chaste and refrain from premarital sex and forsake trash such as pornography, and enjoy the peace and blessings that doing so brings. I keep my language clean at all times and can see the effect it has on my friends who are not Mormon. I partake in only good media. Others ways that I live my faith include simply going to church every week and being there. I am active in the Boy Scouts of America and have earned my Eagle Scout Award. In conjunction with scouting is my desire to perform service for others, and putting others before myself. Lastly, I live my standards by simply trying to be a friend to everyone as this is such an easy thing to do most of the time and can have such a profound impact on those around me.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, we are the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after all so we are definitely Christians in what we do and what we believe. Show more Show less
