Hi I'm Brett

I am a Construction Manager in the Northwest United States and a previous U.S. Air Force Survival Instructor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Construction Manager and small farmer/rancher. I have been married since 1996 and have 7 wonderful children. I spent four years as a Survival Instructor for the US Air Force. My hobbies include camping and hunting, snow boarding, and water skiing. Recently i participated in a few triathalons and found alot of enjoyment in that. I have been blessed to travel a bit including a trip to Ethiopia where I helped build a foot bridge across the Blue Nile. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints at the age of 21.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined His church at 21 becuase I recieved a witness from the Holy Ghost that this Church teaches ALL the principles needed to gain salvation and live with a kind and loving Heavenly Father for eternity. As I learned a new principle I tested the truthfulness of it by applying it in my own life and would let the outcome determine the merits of living the principle or not. I have yet to find a teaching whose merits do not live up to the blessings it promises!! This full gospel teaches me how to be a better parent than I thought I could be, and teaches me how to be the man my wife dreamed of as she was growing up. It teaches me how to deal with adversity and find true joy in every journey. This gospel helps raise my family and gives us a promise that we will be together forever!!

How I live my faith

I share what I have learned through the Gospel Of Jesus Christ with the young men ages 12-18 of our church. I get to go on campouts with them and work with them side by side when providing service to someone in need. I have cleaned miles of bike paths to relandscaping one of our buildings all with these great young men. I have taken them on high adventure camps where they have to rely on eachother and our Heavenly Father to make it through the camp. I have blessed enough to share many tears with some of these young men as they discover who they really are and for what purpose are they here on Earth and what their true potential is.
