Hi I'm Danny

I'm a Mormon. Oh yeah a convert too.

About Me

I've got 24 years of trickiness and creativity under my belt. And... according to a questionnaire which I took while sitting in a institute class that I wasn’t registered for therefore didn’t belong in, I have a 89% social desirability. Maybe I should focus my church educational aspirations on other righteous works so I can do great things like many others before me! What's there to say? Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Literally. I'm that good lookin' city boy who didn't bother to heed the warning signs that read "Rough Terrain Ahead" before I went to the woods, and ran into a bunch of car problems after my trip, I'm about 6'0, 230lbs, 24 yrs old, and i like to have fun with my friends. So I have a little extra baggage I have to carry around. The emotional kind. Who doesn't have any of that? The question is where's the lost and found when you need it? I want to meet anyone who doesn’t try and start anything with me, people who are easy to get along with and anyone who is Mormon! Cause Mormons are the ish you know? People who aren’t Mormon are cool too. I also want to meet someone who can tell the difference between Haribo and Black Forest gummy bears based on taste alone. They're not the same!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I Mormon??? Another loaded question? Really!? ok here we go! I'm Mormon because I was presented with a choice. A choice to be a part of His only true church or to live without it. By reading this you know what path I have chosen, and the reason for my choosing it is because I prayed about it 7 years ago while sitting with some friends at the time as well as the missionaries and felt a peaceful feeling come over me and while feeling that I remembered Moroni 10:5 and knew what choice I had to make. I am certain that I would be a totally different person had I not chosen to join the only true church on the face of the earth. Many people when I first joined who knew the old me when I was in high school thought that I would not last due to the fact I wouldn't be able to do many of the things I had indulged in before. I didn't look at it that way. I looked at it like I had the opportunity to live my life to the fullest without all of those things hindering me from doing so. I know the church is true without a doubt otherwise I still would not be here participating in it.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith? Kind of a loaded question don't you think? Oh well here we go: I live my faith by fulfilling my callings and priesthood duties such as hometeaching and participating in other activities at church. Hometeaching is very important to me as it is to our Heavenly Father. I love doing it because I get to know other people in my ward much better than I normally would have. As for my calling I am the wards Emergency Preparedness Chairman. I, along with my committee help members of the ward become prepared for whatever disaster (natural or personal) if one should happen.
