Hi I'm Danielle

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Lindon, UT and am the 7th of 8 children. I love art, music, dance, and all other forms of human expression and celebration. One of my favorite past times is reading. I will read anything from adventure books to biographies to self help books. I studied Art History and Humanities, and am currently serving a full-time mission in Houston Texas. I love holidays, and all other days that give an excuse to make a day more exciting. I enjoy developing new talents and am trying to develop my skills with the guitar, piano, and art.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true. I have prayed and searched, and God answered my prayers. This gospel has brought me true joy, comfort when I have gone through tough times, and inspiration in my art, music, and life in general. Through reading the scriptures and praying, I have found answers to not only my deep religious questions, but to my everyday questions as well. It is a gospel for everyone because it is led by our Heavenly Father. He loves and knows us all so well, and only wants to help us. He has sent us in families, given us friends, scriptures, and prophets to help us come unto him. It is because of the love I feel for my Father in Heaven and my desire to see him again someday, that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The gospel of Jesus Christ takes a role in every part of my life. It shapes who I am and has helped me to come closer to becoming the best version of myself. I believe that God has given us every good thing in our lives and that he finds joy in seeing us use and develop those good things. I have found that it is so nice to know that I always have a family in the church no matter where I go. I have always found friends and felt needed in every place I have lived because of the church. I was just recently the choir director and family home evening group leader in my last ward. I got to plan activities, choose music and lead those who wanted to do musical numbers for our services. I am now in Houston as a full-time missionary, and it gives me the opportunity to share the happiness that I have found with others.
