About Me

I'm a wife, mom, sister, daughter, granddaughter and aunt. I have three wonderful kids. I stay at home and try to teach my kids and try to keep my home clean, it's harder than you think. I'm a bill payer, driver, cook, maid and awesome player of Mario Bros. I am a Mormon! I love music whether it is singing it, playing it or hearing it. I am a fan of DYI projects and try to do as many of them as possible. I love Mexican food and would love to go to Mexico some day. I love that time of night when you are so tired that anything is hilarious.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I didn't know I knew this church was true until I was in high school. I had to question it to realize that the answers were infront of me the whole time. I searched and studied and prayed and got my answer. Without a doubt I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. The teachings and the principles that I grew up with are even more true to me now that I am wife and mother. I feel peace and comfort when I am living this gospel. I see the blessings in my life when I do what the Lord commands me to do. I feel his love for me and I know that he knows who I am.

How I live my faith

I work with the 12 to 18 year old girls in our ward. They are wonderful group of girls that are so full of spirit and compassion. I try to help them to become more independent and teach them the importance of learning how to be a sister, daughter, mother and wife. I do whatever the Lord asks me to do and right now it is working with these young ladies. I know I have to something to give them, though I don't know what that is yet, that will help them in the years to come to become the women they are supposed to be. I help plan activites that will help strenghten these young ladies in all aspects of their lives.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Megan
A husband and wife can be together forever if they are married in the Temple of the Lord and keep the covenants that they make there. Through that marriage in the temple, a family can be together forever if the husband and wife continue to keep the covenants. It's not hard, it is just living life like they know they should. Being together forever is not just here on Earth, but also after we die. We will have ties to one another and know who eachother are after we die and return to our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
