Hi I'm Chaz

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Arizona and I'm currently surving a mission in Minnesota.

About Me

I come from a really strong family of 6. We grew up going on a lot of camping, hunting and fishing trips. Seems like we were out of town at least once a month, every month. We’re a extremely active family, my sisters play softball, run track and do cheer. I grew up playing baseball, football, wrestling, and my most passionate hobby was racing dirt bikes and riding single track trails out in the desert with my father. My parents are amazing people and supported us in everything we did, and spent a lot of time with us in order to raise us how they were raised.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, growing up in the church I always knew God was there. However I never really acted on that understanding, until deciding if I was going to start up school, continue riding dirt bikes or serve a mission for my church. I prayed, and thought about what line (or path) I should take in life for about 2 weeks. Then After literally making myself sick I received my answer. I HAD TO SERVE THE LORD. During those two weeks I tried to recall all the blessings I’ve received throughout my life and the role the church of JESUS CHRIST of latter day saints had played in my life. Growing up I liked going to church, I had a lot of friends there and enjoyed the campouts, basketball games and softball tournaments. I grew up an active member in the church and had a testimony of my own. However I felt my testimony was almost a spec of sand compared to the testimony of some friends or family. It wasn’t until after I had thought about all the times Heavenly Father has been there for me and the many miracles that I’ve witnessed in my own life that my testimony was ignited, like a match to racing fuel. I was over whelmed with the amount of Gods love I felt and I knew I had to dedicate 2 years of my life to serve him. Meaning I would leave my family, friends, work, and hobbies behind and give my all to serve the lord. I couldn’t deny the lords hand in my life and all the times he had healed me through priesthood blessings (the priesthood is the authority to act in God’s name) which my father holds. I have seen the power of priesthood blessings as I was healed from various injuries which were a result of the sports I played growing up. I know that the church of JUSUS CHRIST of latter day saints has the power and authority to act in Gods name. Even the same power and authority Christ healed others with and built his church upon. Long story short, now a year later I'm on a Mission in Minnesota serving the Lord proudly wearing JESUS CHRIST'S name on a black and white badge over my heart.
