Hi I'm Sheryn

I live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I am married and have 4 beautiful children. I love my life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The majority of my life is consumed with being a mom, and I love every second of it. I have four lovely children who keep me very busy. I spend many hours a day in my car driving to piano lessons, tennis lessons, ballet class, swimming pools, school activities, church activities, and the list goes on and on. I'm sure you get the idea. In my free time, I love to cook, clean my house (yes, call me crazy), walk with my friends, work in my yard, watch my kids in their various activities, play tennis and read. The best part of my day is when my kids arrive home from school and my husband gets home from work. Sometimes, when everyone is gone during the day, the house seems a little too quiet. My husband and I moved our four children to Colorado because we love the mountains and we love to snow ski. In the winter, we spend every chance we get skiing with the kids. We also love to travel as a family. We have taken the kids to some pretty great destinations such as London, Paris, Belgium, Hawaii, Mexico, Bahamas, New York City and Washington D.C. I believe traveling and planning fun activities with my children will create a lifetime of memories.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a part member family which means my mother was a member of the church and my father was not. Although my father was not a member of the church, he supported my mother in raising the kids in the LDS faith. I was active in the church all through my school years but it wasn't until I went to Brigham Young University where my testimony really grew. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and I try to live my life to reflect that statement. Having the church in my life has brought me comfort, protection, peace, and a knowledge of the plan my Father in Heaven has for me. The greatest gift I could give anyone would be to help them come to experience the great blessings and gifts that Heavenly Father has in store for them.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and I try to live my life to reflect that statement. Having the church in my life has brought me comfort, protection, peace, and a knowledge of the plan my Father in Heaven has for me. The greatest gift I could give anyone would be to help them come to experience the great blessings and gifts that Heavenly Father has in store for them. I try to do this in simple ways such as serving those in need, being a good friend, teaching the 10 years olds at church, and being an example to my own children, neighbors and friends.
