Hi I'm Steven

I'm tall, I love sports, I love my family, I'm passionate about public affairs, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Arizona and I love the heat. I served a mission for the church in Peru. I'm a proud BYU Cougar Alumnus and am currently pursuing a Masters of Public Administration. I love all types of sports and I really enjoy golf as it allows me to spend more time with my family. I love my family and they always come first in my life. I love the outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking. I love to read. I am proud to be an American. I am very interested in politics and follow the decisions our leaders make closely. I believe that in order to change our world we must start in our homes and in our local communities.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the peace it brings. I love that my family is sealed for eternity because we were married by one who has the proper authority. Most importantly, I'm a Mormon because I know it's true in my heart. I have prayed about it and felt the peace in my heart. I know the path I'm on is correct and if I endure to the end I will have exaltation. I am blessed to be a part of a church that has Prophets, Apostles, Evangelists and Teachers just as it says in Ephesians. The proper authority has been restored on the earth once more for these last days.

How I live my faith

I involve the Lord in every decision I make in life. I constantly have a prayer in my heart to do my best to maintain his spirit with me. I do my best to actively participate in the community both in the law making and design aspects. I serve faithfully in my church callings to help others learn more about the gospel. I do my best to keep the commandments so I can be an example for others. I am not ashamed of the gospel I live and am willing to share my thoughts and feelings to anyone. I honestly answer questions of coworkers and friends who are not of my faith and are curious to what I believe. I do my best to be a true follower of Christ. I am not perfect in this but strive to do my best and repent of my sins.
