Hi I'm Fredrick

I grew up in Kenya. I love mountain biking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Kenya but moved to Dc in Sep 2009, currently in school working on a PA major. I speak Swahili, English and luo still working on my Spanish, love mountain biking, anything to do with food, photography, rugby, soccer, rockclimbing and dancing.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church a few weeks after I started school in DC. I was searching for something, not really knowing what it was specifically, but I still kept looking. I was previously Catholic before moving to DC. I remember looking for a church and trying different options I thought had what I was looking for. I found out about the church once I moved out to DC and after investigating it for 3 weeks I became a Mormon :) I know that the church is true because everything about it makes sense. It fully explains our purpose, where we came from and where we are going. It reveals an aspect about God that other religions don't; the aspect that God is our Heavenly Father who has a loving side and weeps when we reject him or when we experience sorrow. He is a Father who deeply yearns for us to go back and live with him, not just someone who punishes us when we do wrong. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I served my church by being a part of the Sunday school teaching.
