Hi I'm Brian

I am a mathematician. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Although I was born in Arizona, I grew up in a small California town in the Mojave Desert. As a child, I was very studious, especially in mathematics. I love solving problems and figuring things out. After college, I began working as an actuary. My wife and I have 3 small children, two girls and a boy.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ makes sense to me. In mathematics, when I have discovered the solution to a difficult problem in my mind, I get a sense of clarity from connecting all of the peices. I recieved that same clarity as I began a passionate study of the Book of Mormon. I have learned that this clarity and understanding is a manifestation of the Holy Ghost. Being a Mormon has blessed me with continued clarity in every aspect of my life, through the gift of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I enjoy teaching children. They are willing to overlook my quarks, and it is usually very fun.
