Hi I'm Aaron

I am from Denver, Colorado. I work in construction and I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I am the youngest of six kids in my family. My parents are converts to the Church of Latter Day Saints. They were both raised in Minnesota as good active Catholics. I served a mission for the church in Argentina for two years. Shortly after returning from my mission I married my eternal companion Megan. She is my best friend and I feel absolute peace and security around her because I know we share the same beliefs about religion, our family and nearly everything else. Marrying her was the best decision I have ever made. We have been blessed with three beautiful boys to raise. I work in construction management. My career has taken us to Washington DC and back to Denver Colorado. I am a scout master, and I coach football, basketball, and soccer on my sons team. I love the outdoors, I love to fly fish and hike. We love spending time with family and friends. I love to work out and play basketball and racquetball.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a home where my family was already a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was given all of the opportunities in this world to worship with my family, but I learned for myself at a young age that this is how I want to be following God. I have gained a testimony that this is the true church of God because of personal feelings that I have felt. My testimony started by seeing the happiness that my family had because of following God this way. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and was written by ancient Prophets of God here on the earth. I have felt the love of God and know he is pleased with my choice of how I am following him. I love my wife and children more because of Jesus Christ and his influence in my life. I know this is the true church of Jesus Christ because I have felt His confirming spirit tell me. I owe everything I have to God and for that I will forever serve him.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by serving in His church by whatever He asks me to do. Right now I serve as a Scoutmaster for the Scout Troop assigned to our localized area. Serving in the church has brought so many blessings to me and my family. My wife and children see me serve in the church and they see that I believe in God and the best way to serve God is to minister to his Children. I believe that we are all children of God and he wants nothing more than to see us take care of each other. God blesses us many times through other people. I live my faith by reading daily my scriptures and praying to our Lord. I worship God every Sunday at church with my family. This is an opportunity for me to renew covenants (promises) that I have made with God and to feel of His spirit and learn what it is that I need to be doing or doing better in my life. I feel renewed each week after I go to church. I will do whatever God wants me to do to help build his Kingdom here on Earth. I am forever in God's debt.
