Hi I'm Jen

I was born and raised in Fiji.I lived in Fiji till I was 15. I now reside in Arizona with my husband and my baby and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, my husband and I have one child and she is everything to us. We got married in Feb. 2008 and Alexianna was born to us in Feb, 2011. I am a full-time stay at home mom and I absolutely love it. We wouldn't have it any other way. My husband and I have started our own business where we help people get properly protected, get out of debt, and save for the future. We develop leaders who develop leaders!! I am the youngest of 8 children and most of us live in Arizona. My father passed away in 1999 when I was only 13. It was a very tough time for us as a family but it also brought us closer to each other in ways that I can't even describe. I am very fortunate to have my mom living with me right now. We get together with the rest of my family as often as we can. Not everyone in my family is still active in church but I believe with all my heart that every single one of them has a testimony that this church is true. I love them all and I'm so grateful to a part of this wonderful family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am LDS because I know with all my heart that this is the only true church on the earth today. When I was a senior in high school I read the entire Book Of Mormon for the first time. After reading it, I knelt down and prayed to Heavenly Father to know if the book contained the whole truth and if Christ did come to the America's after he died on the cross for us. I knew then as I know now that it is true. I received the most comforting feelings that I continue to feel today each time I ask the same questions. To know with a surety in my soul and not show it in everything I do would be lying to myself and to everyone around me.

How I live my faith

Well I love this question! I live my faith everyday by being the best example I can be to my daughter. I currently serve with the young women at church as the Personal Project Advisor and I love my calling. Spending time and helping young girls from age 12-18 is a great opportunity for me because I am able to watch these young girls grow into beautiful young women who strive to live and keep high standards. I know that life can be hard at times, as a young woman in today's world, but the youth are our future leaders and if we can show them how to be better leaders by example than we need to be doing things we want our leaders and future leaders to do. One thing I try to work on is being more friendly to the new women in the church. I know how hard it is to be the new girl with no friends and I am always impressed when the young women go out of their way to include the new girl in their activities and meetings. Another thing I try to always do is not judge others. I find that it is way to easy to judge those around me. I've seen how judging others can breakup friendships and families and I want to see others as our Savior sees them.
