Hi I'm Amy Ferguson

I'm an Idaho native, an Executive Assistant, a wife, mother, and grandmother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to learn and flit from hobby to hobby. Right now I'm a piano-playing wannabe and am trying to teach myself how to play piano by ear. I have four beautiful children, nine grandchildren, and one on the way. My family is my most treasured blessing. I joined the church when I was 19 and am currently serving as Stake Young Women President.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because 34 years ago two missionaries knocked on the door of the apartment where I was living in San Diego with three roommates. After just a few minutes of conversation I realized that they were sharing information with me that I had always believed, and had not been able to find elsewhere. They lit a fire in my heart and every evening after they left, I would read the scriptures they suggested and the pamphlets they left behind. I was the only one of the four roommates to join the church, and have never looked back. Every single blessing that I have received in my life has come through my membership in the church - my eternal companion, and my beautiful children and grandchildren. I know that Heavenly Father has been mindful of me and has guided my path. I know he hears and answers prayers and that he is in control. I know that if you look, you will see the tender mercies that Heavenly Father gives to each of us to let us know that he is there. Life is not always easy, but I know why I'm here and where I'm going. What a comfort that is to me!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the Stake Young Women's President, and working full time. My life is hectic and busy but I know that I'm doing what Heavenly Father wants me to do at this time in my life. The young women are the future of the church, and the work that we do to help them grow closer to their Heavenly Father is so important.
