Hi I'm Niki

I grew up in Colorado and love to play outdoors. I'm in love with my sweet family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Momma to two little ones and a wife to my best friend. I grew up the youngest of three children, which makes me sister to two wonderful older brothers and a very grateful daughter. I'm passionate about my family and have found a new love of writing through blogging about our latest happenings. I love learning about new things and am constantly picking up a new hobby. My family seems to be the driving force behind all I do and that makes me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel that my relationship with my Heavenly Father is the relationship that enhances all others in my life. I know that he sent His Son, Jesus Christ, for all of us, so that we might have the opportunity to live with Him again once more. My life has been different because of my choice to follow His teachings found in the scriptures and His example. I feel a greater magnitude of the love our Heavenly Father has for us, as I have become a parent myself. I am also grateful for my knowledge of the Restoration of the Gospel and the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that he was a true prophet, just as the prophets of old. I know that our Heavenly Father loves His children of all ages and wants us all to have the truth to guide us through this life. I know that we are also blessed to have a true prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, to continue to receive much needed revelation from our Heavenly Father for us today. My testimony of my faith has come through study and prayer. I'm a Mormon because I know that He answers prayers and that these things are true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by continually learning and growing through following the teachings of Christ. I feel that the most important service or calling I have from the Lord is for my own family. I live my faith by serving them, loving them, and teaching them. I also enjoy serving within our church and have had the pleasure of working with our wonderful youth. I also feel that I live my faith by having gratitude for all the blessings that our Heavenly Father gives to us, even in the midst of trials or troubling times. While I am not perfect, I feel that through my experiences day to day, I have the opportunity to perfect my faith in my Heavenly Father and His plan for me and my little family.
