Hi I'm Jodee

I'm a wife, a mother, a runner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a wife for almost ten years now. I have the best job in the world! I am a stay at home mom. I have four great kids and enjoy everyday sharing those little moments with them. I love leading an active life and get involved in road races and triathlons locally. Running is probably one of my biggest hobbies and I love sharing that with my husband and kids. I also have a special interest in ASL as two of my sons were born with a moderate hearing loss. That has played a big part in our family life, but also has not held us back in anyway. I am so blessed to have the family I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I don't have one defining moment that I gained a testimony. It has been experiences throughout my life that make up my testimony of the gospel. I was blessed to grow up in an active LDS family. I was taught about the beliefs of the church from my parents and siblings as well as many teachers at church through my childhood. I have a simple faith and testimony of the teachings of the church and I am constantly working towards the ultimate goal to make it back to live with our Heavenly Father again with my forever family.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings or "jobs" in the church. I have served in children's sunday school, the children's musical programs, youth groups, teaching women's sunday school and many fellowshipping callings. I have always been willing to serve in any calling that I was asked as a small part to help bring others into the gospel and continue to teach and I am always amazed at how much I learn as well. I try to always keep my life and actions in following with the teachings of Jesus Christ and I am teaching my kids every chance I get the importance of trying to be like Jesus. I try to be a good example of those teachings with anyone I come into contact with throughout each day and in every aspect of my life.
