Hi I'm Jenni

I'm a proud housewife, married to the worlds greatest man, and adore my six wonderful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I am a fun-loving person who loves her family! I am married to the worlds greatest husband and father. Together we have six beautiful children, ranging from ages 14 to 1 year. We keep pretty busy, but always make time for laughter.

Why I am a Mormon

I started going to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was very young. I grew up in a small town that focused on every other Christian religion but my own. I still don't understand what everyone was so afraid of. My parents weren't exactly thrilled that I became Mormon, seeing how they wanted to me to go to church... just not THAT one!! Lol! But they eventually accepted it. My Dad and one of my sisters were always especially supportive. There's still no getting my Dad to come to church, but I'm so happy to say that my sister and her family (husband and two kids) were all just recently baptized!! But I'll let her tell her own conversion story. A few years after joining the church I took some wrong turns. The amazing thing about our Heavenly Father is its okay. When we fall He is there to help us back up again. He's there to help us gain strength so we can return to Him again. I am so thankful for my free agency, but more thankful for the amazing teacher He has given us in Christ.

How I live my faith

I serve a wonderful calling in my Ward. I am one of the Ward Missionaries. What's even better is I serve with my amazing husband, who is the Ward Mission Leader. Missionary and Service work are very much my passions, and being able to serve with my eternal companion is so important to me. I also enjoy my visiting teaching. It's just a moment to let my Heavenly sisters know how much they mean to me and how much I care for them. One of my more recent passions is family indexing. It's almost not fair... I feel that I put so little in such a great reward. The blessings that fill my home because of indexing are spectacular!

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Our lifestyle, I believe, is the same as most families. We work, our kids go to school, and everyone has their own task or chore at home. I wasn't raised in the church as my children are today. So I guess the differences between my home growing up and my home now is we eat dinner together every night as a family; We go to church every Sunday; We say our prayers; We have Family Home Evening once a week, which is a time for us to gather as a family and learn more about our gospel and each other; We recognize the Sabbath and keep it holy; Essentially we strive everyday to ensure we are united. Sure we stumble, and we're certainly not perfect! But we strive to keep on the path. Show more Show less
