Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Denmark, I moved to USA to study and liked America so much that I stayed. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. Every chance I get, I grab my kids and wife to go out camping, hiking, swimming, etc. Nature is beautiful and I love to experience all it has to offer. I love to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge. I feel strongly that you cannot be too young or too old to learn something new. I love my family above all. My family is my dearest treasure.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith gives me peace in a hectic world. It is so easy to get carried away in the daily hub-bub of life, and your stress level can easily go through the roof. Whenever I just stop, even for a moment, I can recall my peace and see my long-term goal. My family means everything to me. I believe that the bonds I form with my family, can stay strong and firm, even after death. I have lost family members, but knowing that I can see them again brings great peace to my mind and soul. I am comforted that I can always turn to a person who will always listen to me, no matter where I am or what I have done. A person who through example and purpose will always care for me. I believe and know these things because I have felt several peaceful and strong warm feelings inside of me when asking in prayer about these things. I feel blessed to have my faith, and I know that it can be shared to other people.

How I live my faith

I am currently teaching the boys, ages 9-11, in my church. I enjoy seeing their excitement and knowledge of the gospel of Christ. I see how this learning is changing their lives for the better and how it helps them. I am also a hometeacher. I go and visit families from my church, to provide assistance if needed, and share a message from our monthly Ensign. I try to be a good example around those I socialize and associate with, by being friendly and mindful of others.
