Hi I'm Annallise

I have lived in CA my whole life. I'm #5 of 8 children and i love my Big family. (And i'm not just saying that:)

About Me

I love to draw, paint, READ, eat, play piano, sing, dance, hike, run, and do service. I love to learn about anything and everything. My favorite colors are red, white, green, blue, pink, orange, purple, yellow, ect. I'm 21 and I just finished my 5th semester of college. 1 with BYUI Pathways and 4 with Monticello College a wonderful and amazing Liberal Arts College that I plan to attend on campus after I return from my mission in 2015. I received my mission call, along with my younger brother and best friend Hunter, on October 18th 2013, (The day after my B-day) We are both going to Japan. I will be serving in the Tokyo South mission and Hunter will serve in the Kobe mission. We're so excited! (Our father went to Tokyo north and is still fluent.) I love to dress up, but hate shopping. I like to look pretty, but love getting my hands dirty and helping work on our little five acre farm in my overalls. My family is big into Hard Work and pulling your own weight. Parents have always taught us to have high standards of living and doing our best. The parents favorite quotes are "Good, better, best. Never let it rest, till your good is better and your better is best." And "Anything you persist in doing becomes easier, not that the nature of the task has changed, but your power to do has increased." So pretty much buck up, take responsibility for yourself and your actions and when life gets you down you can choose to get back up or stay down. I love the church and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints my whole life, and will stay that way for time and all eternity. I made it my personal goal to find out if The Church was really true when I turned 15. I read The Book Of Mormon for myself and took the challenge at the end to pray and see if it was true. I lived, more fully the gospel principals. The Church Is worth seeking after to find the true happiness it brings. I love the safety I feel from being a member of this church. There is not one question that cannot be answered by living the gospel principles, reading the scriptures, and the teachings of the Prophets and apostles in this day in age. I know where I'm from, why i'm here and where I'm going. I have gained a testimony of prayer throughout my life and I know that I have a Father in Heaven who knows who I am and what I need. I know I will be with my family for time and all eternity those who have passed on and also to those still living. I am a member because this gospel teaches me to be loving, hard working, family oriented, prepared, virtuous, faithful, educated, thankful, trustworthy, modest and happy. I am not perfect, but I strive to do my best and to improve myself. I know that through the atonement of my savior Jesus Christ I can repent and become clean. I have witnessed miracles and blessings. I have received answers to my prayers. I have felt the comfort of the gospel when living it to the best of my ability and I have felt the empty and sad feeling of it when I am not. It has made me who I am and is constantly adding to the women and want to become. I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in the Japan Tokyo South mission. It is a beautiful place. The people are honestly amazing. I strive to be worthy to wear the name of Christ over my heart on my name badge. I love this gospel, because it gives me hope and peace, and I love to share that same feeling with others. The Lord was always of service to those around him and I do my best to be of service. I love to volunteer at service projects of all types. I can be of use and help to those around me when I offer my services and really enjoy the feeling of being helpful to others.
