Hi I'm Clint Smith

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Clint. I was born in Clay Springs, Arizona. I have worked on our ranch my whole life, working horses and cows. I was a logger for half of my life, cutting and hauling logs. I have also hauled cement and was a disel mechanic. I was married in June of 1963 and am a father to 5 boys and 2 girls. My whole life I have had a testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and that they are with us.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of consecrated our life to the work of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saitnts. As members of the Church we learn of God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ our Savior and redeemer of the world and of the Holy Ghost. I testify of this truth. I testify The Book Of Mormon is true, and is the word of God. The "Iron Rod" Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God, the Prophet of the Restoration of fulness of the Gospel restored back to the earth. The Melchizedek Priesthood is the power and authority for men to act in Gods name. I testify of the atonment all will come unto the Savior will be saved. I so testify of that Missionary work is the work of the Lord. I testify the Lord lives, he is God's Son. This Testimony I bear witness of that power in the mane of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

When I was a young kid I was always impressed by the gospel. I think I have had arthritis even as a small boy because there were some days where I could hardly walk from the pain. Then one morning I told my mom that there was someone with me last night and now I can walk fine. My mom said that it was probably Heavenly Father blessing me. Thats when my faith started. I was baptized by my granddad. One of my first calling was with the elders quorm. I was in that calling for 11 years. Now I am the ward mission leader. I try to organize the ward missionary program to see that all the members of the ward get visited to encourage the members to do missionary work, as well as visit and teach the non members. One of the most important things any member or non member can do is pray to Heavenly Father that we might know the truth of all the things we are teaching or learning. The Holy Ghost will confirm the truths. The bottom line is to put your trust and faith in our Savior.
