Hi I'm Bea

I'm a wife, a mother, a teacher, a cook, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 4 grown children. I have two sons and two daughters and recently a daughter-in-law. I work full time at an elementary school with special needs children. I also attend a University at night and wish I had gone when I was younger. I love my family and my Job. I have been very blessed to be able to see how our children change and grow as we teach them what they need to know to live/survive in this crazy world. I love to cook, garden, sew, teach, and make people smile. Service to others is a big part of my life and I hope that I can serve until the day that I leave this earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church so I have never not been a member of the church at least that is how I feel. I have never been able to deny that the church was true. Even when I wasn't doing my best to live it I still knew it was true. I guess I was finally converted when I found my self living alone and no one around to make me go to church. I love the feeling that I get when I pray and when I hear people bear their testimony. I have been blessed to always have a testimony of the scriptures and love to learn as I read the word of God I have found great strength and peace as I have had the opportunity to attend the temple often. My testimony and my strength that I receive from my Heavenly Father helps me to know that I have found the true church. I will never be able to deny that.So why am I a Mormon? Because I know it's true.

How I live my faith

I am currently a leader in my ward who helps the young girls 8-12 to learn valuable skills and gain a testimony. We teach them how to love, serve others, and how to better themselves so that they can one day teach others. I have been very blessed to monthly visit and teach other sisters in my church unit. They give me strength and I do my best to help them and buoy them up in times of trial. I have been able to serve in the primary with our 3-12 year old children. I have also served the adult sisters in my wards and love to help them in times of need. I love to serve and know that where ever I go the church and their beliefs are the same. I can move and still be with my brothers and sisters in the gospel.
