Hi I'm Elder Brayan Fischer

Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, moved to the U.S in 2006, serving a mission in Nevada Las Vegas, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm very shy in the first five minutes, but when I feel that I can be myself... everything is a party! I'm the middle child of three, both my dad and brother served on a mission, and I have a beautiful mother who cares and loves me. Currently serving in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission enjoying my last two weeks on field. I have learned so much over the past six months and I know it's because of my Heavenly Father's love, and for committing myself to be obedient to the commandments and by serving others. I love sports, especially soccer, tennis, volleyball, and ping-pong. I love being outdoors, running every morning and knowing that everyday is a new day to have fun. One of my favorite things to do is helping others, try to be a good example and carefully listen to the spirit so I can discern exactly what my Heavenly Father wants me to do.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know the prophets were called by God and shared the gospel with the ancient inhabitants of the Americas, and through the Holy Ghost I have received a witness of the truthfulness of this record. I have read it, ponder it, prayed, hoped, and with a surety in my heart that the things that I searched for where words that could touch my life. Today, as member of His Church, I can tell that prayer is one of the greatest gifts God as rewarded us with, and because of revelation we will always know God's will, but especially, we will recognize that God will send his love through our feelings and thoughts through the Holy Ghost. Being a disciple of Jesus Christ I have come to know that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I worked as an Assistant Clerk before I came on a mission and I definitely learned how to help others, and it was a great experience. I liked helping the members with their concerns, questions about the ward, membership records, and just having the opportunity to serve the Lord makes me feel happy. I have had the opportunity to have different assignments as a full-time missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

What is faith?

Elder Brayan Fischer
Faith is not only believing in, hoping for, or wishing for something, but obeying to God's commandments. Faith is action, mimicking what Jesus would say and do, and by doing this God can testify to us through the Spirit that it is His will. Faith can give you strength, understanding, knowledge, protection, and power. God will never send you to do something without preparing you beforehand. Faith, as obedience, is happiness.
