Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a Mormon. I love my family and spending time on vacation.

About Me

I am the father of four, married for 17 years. My hobbies include baseball, golf, and school. I will complete my MBA in December 2011.

Why I am a Mormon

My choice of faith is the LDS religion. I am a better husband, father, and man because of it. The church brings purpose and order to an otherwise chaotic world. I read the Book of Mormon as a teen and prayed earnestly to know the truth of it's message. The answer I received was overwhelming. It is true. That testimony has remained with me ever since my youth. It has brought peace, understanding, and comfort again and again. Because of this, I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and that Joseph Smith is a prophet.

How I live my faith

The last four years have been quite busy for me. I have worked as the Cubmaster for our Cub Scouts. The job was quote fun, organizing pack meetings, teaching skills to boys, and participating in events like the Pinewood Derby. I also visit families in my area to share our faith and ensure basic needs are met.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

Self-reliance is the hallmark of a Christian lifestyle. We work to provide for ourselves in preparation for times of scarcity. By employing principles of work, thrift, and self-reliance, our needs can be met. Oftentimes, this is the means by which we have enough to share with others. Show more Show less
