Hi I'm Jake

I'm 20 years old. I grew up in a small town in southern Mississippi, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I spent my early years in Indiana. When I was about 11 we moved to a swamp in mississippi. We had a small farm with all sorts of animals. I enjoyed ridding four wheelers, shooting guns, playing video games and hanging out with my friends and family. I am currently in Alaska, the great and last frontier. (trying to stay warm)

Why I am a Mormon

I have read the book of mormon and felt the Holy Sprit testify to me that it true. I have also studied the bible and see a need for a Restoration of the true Church of Christ, with a need for Presithood Authority and organization with Apostles and Prophets. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has all of that. Every one is friendly and I very much consider them family. They help people out and that's something very hard to find in this world today.

How I live my faith

Growing up in Mississippi I was the only mormon preson that went to my entire high school. All my friends knew this not just because I would tell them, but because I wouldn't participate in the immorality that would go on. I up held my standards. Even though people think that gods commandments are not important any more, they still are to me. I live the way that God wants me to and try to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I was the assistaint clerk for my ward back home, and right now I am currently serving as missionary in Alaska to share the message of the gospel with everyone.
