Hi I'm Sandy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a retired second grade teacher. I am a wife, mother of 4, and grandmother of 11. I am a convert of 50 years, having joined the church as a young adult. I like to walk, go to the Y, and visit with friends. I love to travel, visit family, and play with grand kids. Although retired I've found lots of opportunities to serve in the church. At present I serve as a Primary teacher for the 6 year olds, part-time service missionary, and a temple worker.

Why I am a Mormon

In the church I see evidence of love for Jesus Christ in many ways. I see wonderful people doing wonderful things. I see a huge welfare and humanitarian aid system at work that is quick to respond to individual needs as well as worldwide emergencies. Even though some believe we are not Christians I know we are as Christian as Christian can be. I see it all around me. Even if I didn't have a testimony of the truthfulness of the restored gospel and the leadership of prophets, I would choose to belong this this church.

How I live my faith

As before mentioned I take every opportunity to serve and be involved. I believe we best live our faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ, by how we treat others. I try to be generous, kind, and helpful at every opportunity. I am a Christian. I am a Mormon.
