Hi I'm Justalyn

I am a wife. I am a mother. I love my children more than anything I can imagine and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. After living in New York for several years, my husband and I chose to raise our family in Arizona. I am a wife. I am a mother of three amazing children. I have witnessed the tender mercies of our Heavenly Father in the births of each of my children. They truly are miracles in my life. I have been blessed with the wonderful opportunity to stay at home with my children. I get to be a cook, a carpool driver, a homework tutor, a soccer/flag football/swim/basketball/dance supporter, a housekeeper, a laundry expert, and a caretaker every day. And I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the church, I think my testimony really solidified as a teenager going through the Young Women’s program. I still remember reciting the Young Women Theme and really understanding that I was a daughter of my Heavenly Father, who loved me and I loved Him. I often say I owe my life to the Young Women’s program. It provided opportunities for me to grow, feel and recognize the Spirit, and serve others. I would have had a life without this guidance, but I certainly would not have the life I live today. Every aspect of my life is blessed because I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As a mother, I gain a perspective and direction I cannot find anywhere else.

How I live my faith

We are taught, when you are in the service of your fellow beings, you are in the service of your God. My heart is so full of gratitude for the blessings the gospel brings into my life. I have a great desire to “repay” the Lord through service. I love to help people. I love to have people in my home. I love to teach my children to serve others. The greatest compliment I ever received was when a complete stranger called me in need, a friend of mine had told her that if she called me I would help her. And I would, a million times over. Service helps you forget about yourself and your own trials for a moment and see God’s love in action.
