Hi I'm Amy

I grew up in sunny California, and am a transplant to beautiful Colorado. I am raising four wonderful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy being a mom, wife, sister, neighbor and friend. I love to read, spend time outdoors with my family, and go out with my husband. Daily life doesn't go much beyond packing lunches, chasing energetic little boys around, and managing our household. And I love it. I am blessed to be able to stay home with my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was active in the LDS church. I have always been taught that I am a child of God, and that defines my life. I have been blessed to always have the feeling of knowing what I was being taught is true. I have not had to seek for truth because it has always been right in front of me. I know I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father. He loves me and guides me through my life. I know that my Savior lived a perfect example for us on this earth, and I am always striving to follow His example. As my family grows I am so grateful to know that I can live with them forever. My husband is my eternal companion, death will not separate us. How grateful I am that I have this knowledge and can teach it to my children.

How I live my faith

I serve in the women's organization at church. I help plan mid-week activities for the women. We do everything from cooking classes, to talent shows, social dinners, to service projects for our community. I love being able to help myself and the women in my ward enrich their lives and grow closer to our Savior. I pray to my Heavenly Father everyday and am teaching my children to do the same. We pray together as a family in the morning and night. I strive to read my scriptures daily so I can form a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
