Hi I'm Megan

I'm a wife and stay at home mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife. My husband and I have almost been married for 5 years. I am a mother. I have one son that is almost 2 and keeps me busy. I have a love for photography but only as a hobby. I live in a small Idaho town and love to spend time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family. As I was growing up my Dad quit going to church. This was hard for me. There was a time when I was hitting my teen years that I wasn't sure if I wanted to stop going too. I had a choice to make and didn't know if I wanted to make a good choice (to go to church) or take the "so-called" easy way out (quit going to church). I argued with my mom about attending church one sunday morning and I won. I felt great that I could stay home. As soon as I saw her car back out of the driveway I felt a my stomach ache and tighten. I knew then that I made the wrong choice. I knew from that point on that I needed the church and gospel in my life. I still had my struggles of going to church as I went to high school and even when the choice was solely mine when I was in LDS singles ward. Sometimes I would compare myself to others and didn't want to feel that way when I went to church. I had prayed to my Father in Heaven and asked for a way to stop my worry of always comparing myself to others. That's when I began to make friendships and help other want to be at church. Instead of focusing on myself and what I needed to change I began to befriend and serve those around me. This helped me focus on feeling the spirit and increasing my testimony in my Savior and my faith in the gospel.

How I live my faith

I strive daily to read the scriptures and say my personal prayers. I love teaching my son of his Heavenly Father who loves and cares for him. I am the Primary secretary for our ward and every week realize how much children can teach me of faith in the gospel.
