Hi I'm Stewart

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of 2--a boy and a girl. I am happily married to my wife who is from Panama. We were married in Mesa, AZ in the Mesa Temple. I studied Economics at BYU and Accounting at University of Phoenix. I currently work as a financial analyst and love what I do. I am an avid sports fan and love to stay active and exercise. I also enjoy the outdoors--camping, hunting, fishing, etc. I read a lot in my spare time and particularly enjoy classic literature. My wife and I hope to travel in the future and introduce our kids to new cultures and people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was raised a member of this church and have come to understand the gospel principles for myself and love them. I have read the Book of Mormon and know it to be truth. Its words inspire me more than those of any other book that I have ever read. I am a Mormon because I know that my Heavenly Father has placed me on this earth with a unique work to accomplish and I have been blessed my entire life to know His will for me and how to accomplish that work.

How I live my faith

I try to keep my life as simple as possible. I have always believed that my actions will speak much louder than my words. I try to serve others who are in a position of necessity because, having been in similar situations, I know how much that means in life. I try to live my faith by being a good steward over everything I possess--especially my family. I always try to remember my Father in heaven and my Savior in everything I do.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Stewart
We don't worship Joseph Smith. He was called to be a prophet as was Moses and Noah and all many other great prophets that we know of. We simply see him as a great man who helped bring about Heavenly Father's work here in the modern days. We have received the Book of Mormon and other tremendous scriptures through Joseph's work on earth. We sing about him. We study his words. But we don't worship him as we do our Father in heaven and Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
